Pennsylvanians who want to participate in November’s general election have less than a month to register to vote.
The deadline is Tuesday, October 11.
The Pennsylvania Department of State is trying to make the registration process as easy as possible. Smartphone users can now text ‘PA’ to ‘2vote’ to get a link to registration information. You can also register online at votespa.com.
Now is also the time to plan for absentee ballots. If you will not be able to go to a polling place on Nov. 8 you must apply for an absentee ballot by Oct. 21.
