A local organization is continuing to honor veterans through an ongoing project.
The Butler American Legion Post #117 is replacing veteran banners throughout the Downtown Butler area.
The deadline to apply for a new banner is today in order to have it in place by Memorial Day.
However applications will continue to be accepted through the troopbanners.com website for placement of banners later in the summer.
