County leaders will take their ongoing discussion regarding the local heroin and opioid crisis to Cranberry Township this week.
The next installment in the series will be Thursday, June 22 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Grace Community Church on Marshall Road.
Sergeant Chuck Mascellino of the Cranberry Township Police Department is scheduled to speak, as well as Dr. Bryan Negrini, the medical director at the Ellen O’Brien Gaiser Addiction Center in Butler.
The forum is free and open to the public.
According to data, more than one person dies every week in Butler County from an opioid-related overdose.
