Lawmakers, community groups and police urge residents to be safe this Halloween weekend.
According to the PA DUI Association, 43 percent of all people killed in vehicle crashes on Halloween night between 2009 and 2013 were because of drunk driving. Also, 19 percent of fatal pedestrian accidents on Halloween night involved drunk drivers.
Police will be out conducting roving DUI patrols.
