A resolution recently approved in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives brings attention to a major issue facing many American military personnel returning home from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The resolution declared May as Military Service-Related Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Awareness Month.
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs estimates one in five Iraq and Afghanistan vets will be diagnosed with PTSD.
Officials say the resolution is the least state lawmakers can do to help take care of those who have done so much for us.
