Kyle Larson won his second race of the Nascar Cup Series season Sunday with a victory at Michigan. It was his third career win. Chase Elliott was the runner-up, followed by Joey Logano, Denny Hamlin and Larson’s teammate Jamie McMurray. Sunday’s race featured just 10 lead changes among four drivers, the fewest number of drivers to lead a race at Michigan International Speedway since the track first hosted a race in 1969.
Clay Millican won his first career Top Fuel event at the NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals Sunday in Bristol, Tennessee. Millican topped Leah Pritchett in the final. It was his 254th career Top Fuel start. Ron Capps was the Funny Car winner, his fifth win of the season. Alex Laughin won the Pro Stock.
