Kyle Larson passed Joey Logano with 29 laps to go at Martinsville Speedway in Virginia and went on to win his second Cup Series race of the season. It was the 21st career Cup Series win for Larson and 15th in the last three seasons. Logano finished second, followed by Martin Truex Jr., Denny Hamlin and Chase Briscoe. Chase Elliott returned from a broken leg and finished 10th.
It was Larson’s first victory at Martinsville in 17 tries.
The drivers head to Talladega this weekend.
