Starting today, landowners have a chance to purchase their hunting license on pre-sale.
The process is a bit different than before according to County Treasurer Diane Marburger.
“You have to buy your general hunting license and your general doe at the same time,” Marburger said. “You can come into my office and we can issue those both to the hunters.”
Marburger says that all other licenses, like archery, muzzleloader, or bear, would have to be purchased at a later date.
The pre-sale period closes on this upcoming Sunday—however Marburger notes that her office in the county government center is not open on Saturday and Sunday.
