This weekend marks the unofficial end of summer, and AAA says there will be plenty of Americans taking advantage of the long weekend.
An online survey done by the travel agency found that more than 30 percent of people plan to make a trip more than 50 miles from home.
Driving by car still is the most popular form of travel for the holiday weekend—an estimated 82 percent will make a trip by automobile.
The most popular destination is Las Vegas according to AAA.
