In just his fifth start since returning from injuries suffered at Daytona in February, Kyle Busch returned to victory lane Sunday at the road course in Sonoma, California. Taking advantage of a late caution, Busch used new tires to pass leader Jimmie Johnson for the win. His brother Kurt was the runner-up, followed by Clint Bowyer. Five-time winner at Sonoma, Jeff Gordon finished 16th after a pit stop penalty in what was his final race at the track. The drivers head for Daytona this weekend and will race Sunday night.
