Brooks Koepka defended his U.S. Open championship following a 68 Sunday at the Shinnecock Hills Golf Course. He finished the tournament +1 over. Tommy Fleetwood was the runner-up after shooting a 63 on Sunday. Fleetwood tied the U.S. Open record for lowest round. He joined Johnny Miller as the only players to shoot a 63 during the final round. Favorite Dustin Johnson was third. Koepka rebounded from an opening-round 75 to become the first player to win back-to-back U.S. Open’s since 1989.
