Knoch junior thrower Jordan Geist’s record breaking season continues, as he set another personal record en route to his first national championship at the New Balance Nationals on Saturday.
With a shot put throw of 71 feet, 2.5 inches, Geist not only took his first national indoor championship and new personal-best, but also broke the meet’s previous record. The next best throw at Nationals was just over 69 feet.
Geist and the Knoch Track Team will begin the 2016 season later this month.
