A Knoch High School junior was named the Distinguished Young Woman of Butler County 2017 over the weekend.
Addison Albert will now represent Butler County in the state competition this summer. She received a $3,000 cash scholars ship and plans to attend Pennsylvania State University for Broadcast Journalism and Musical Theater.
The Distinguished Young Women program, formerly known as Jr. Miss, is a national scholarship program that inspires high school girls to develop their full, individual potential.
Butler Radio’s own Kayla Molczan emceed the Saturday show at Butler County Community College.
