The South Butler County School District is continuing to move forward with the process of a high school renovation.
At their meeting Wednesday night, school board members approved a motion to hire John Pappas from Eckles Construction as construction manager for the Knoch High School Renovation
Project pending solicitor review of the contract.
Although the project is still in the design phase, Eckles will provide the kind of construction oversight that they are currently engaged in with projects in the Seneca Valley, Butler, and Karns City School Districts.
The school board also heard from a representative from PNC Bank which they plan on voting to engage at their next meeting February 2nd in order to take advantage of interest rates that could increase in the near future.
