A graduate of Knoch High School was killed over the weekend in Tennessee as a result of a vehicle accident.
Sarah Kasunic, 23, died Saturday at a hospital in Knoxville.
The Knoxville Police Department told WVLT-TV that Kasunic crashed on Interstate 40 around 2 a.m. Saturday. Shortly after the wreck, a good Samaritan- 38-year-old Ashley Moore of Tennessee- stopped to help her.
Both women exited their vehicles and both were hit by a passing car. Both were killed. As of Monday, the accident remained under investigation.
Kasunic graduated from Knoch in 2013 and from BC3 in 2016. A GoFundMe campaign set up in memory of Kasunic had raised over $14,000 in one day.
