Knoch high school graduate Jordan Geist finished fifth in the shot put at the NCAA Division I championships in Eugene, Oregon. Geist is a freshman at Arizona. Geist was second heading into the final round. He had a top throw of 66-feet, eight-inches, just about a foot shy of the overall winner.
