Girls Tennis:
–The PIAA First Round began Tuesday. The Knoch girls shutout Central Cambria 3-0. The Knights Laura Greb won her match 6-1, 6-1. Brooke Bauer won 6-0, 6-0 and Ally Bauer won 6-0, 6-1. Knoch will meet Moravian Academy Friday at 5pm in the quarterfinal round being played at the Hershey Racquet Club.
WPIAL Boys Soccer Quarterfinals tonight:
4A:
–Butler will visit Mt. Lebanon at 8pm.
–Seneca Valley will host Norwin at 8pm.
3A:
–Mars will host West Allegheny at 8pm.
2A:
–Freeport will meet Quaker Valley at Moon high school. The match begins at 8pm.
–North Catholic will face Deer Lakes at Seneca Valley’s Nextier Stadium at 6pm.
Slippery Rock’s Jacob Wolak finished 11th overall at the PIAA Golf championships in York Tuesday. Jacob ad a two-day total of 160 with rounds of 79 and 81. Skyler Fox of Riverside won the 2A title.

–Undefeated Knoch (14-0) will host Woodland Hills at 7:30pm.
–Mars will meet Elizabeth Forward at Shaler high school at 6pm.
–North Catholic will host Burrell at 7:30pm.
–Undefeated Freeport (12-0) will host South Park at 7:30pm.
