Work crews continue to make progress on the construction project at the Knoch High School campus.
According to an update from construction managers, the project remains on schedule as the roofing has been completed and the front entrance, drywall, and exterior finishes are coming together.
Kitchen equipment is being delivered and crews will be working on finishing up paving for this year as well as installing floor and ceiling tile next week. Then furniture will be delivered in a couple of weeks allowing for some office space, lobby area, and restrooms to be turned over for use by staff and students.
The Knoch School board also discussed the possibility of constructing new tennis courts as well as approved several change orders at their meeting including over $82,000 for additional grading work needed at the site. Part or this entire amount could be returned to the district pending solicitor review of contracts.
