The Knoch Knights boys basketball team lost the first game of the season to Gateway at Plum High School Friday night 40-35.
The Knights lead at halftime 21-17 but couldn’t hold off Gateway in the fourth quarter. Leading in scoring for Knoch was Mac Christy with a career high 15 points and Devin Campbell scored three 3-pointers for 9 points. Austin Hannes also had 7 points including two 3-pointers.
Knoch will play Saturday evening at Plum High School against Plum. Coverage of that game can be heard on 680 am WISR starting at 7:45.
