A Kittanning man is recovering following an accidental shooting in Armstrong County last week.
According to State Police, 65-year-old Allen Beers received a gunshot wound to the leg after a pistol accidently discharged last Tuesday afternoon (2/7).
This injury occurred at a residence along Pine Furnace Road in Valley Township.
Beers was taken to Armstrong County Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries before being taken to Pittsburgh for further treatment.
