A Cranberry Township organization is nearly ready to unveil the refresh of a much-loved playground.
The Cranberry Township Community Chest has renovated the Kids Castle Playground in Community Park and will show off the results Thursday at 3:30 p.m.
After nine years of heavy use, the renovations include updating the play area to make it safer for parents and children as well as a deep cleaning and the addition of a zipline.
Members of the Cranberry Township Community Chest will be joined by Cranberry Township Supervisors, members of Cranberry Uniting People, and students from the Seneca Valley School District.
