Students in Pennsylvania have one less test to take…as least for now.
Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf signed a bill into law Wednesday which says that successful completion of the Keystone Exams in order to graduate high school will not be necessary until the 2018-2019 school year.
The Keystone Exams were designed to make sure students were prepared for life after graduation, but there have been issues with the test.
The delay will allow the Department of Education more time to evaluate the exams and present a report to state legislators about possible alternatives.
