The final group of Butler County students will head back to class tomorrow to begin the first day of a new school year.
Classes begin for students in the Karns City district on Tuesday.
The gymnasium, a band room, and the soon to be new student entrance of the renovated Karns City Area Elementary School is still being completed. Until that work has been finished, students will be dropped off at the old location on the side of the building.
Work will continue into mid to late October during the school day but classrooms will be separated by wooden barriers with some minor noise impacts, according to school officials.
