A local woman has graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in Texas.
Airman Charity McGrady completed an eight week program that included military discipline and physical fitness.
Airmen who finish basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree from the Community College of the Air Force.
McGrady is a 2016 graduate of Karns City Junior/Senior High School. Her father, Patrick, also lives in Karns City.
