A juvenile was charged with assault stemming from an incident on a school bus last month.
Butler Township Police say the incident occurred on a Valley Lines bus that was traveling along Meridian Road on Dec. 18. The bus was transporting students from St. Stephens in Zelienople back to Butler.
Officers allege a juvenile male struck a bus monitor, the bus driver and another student. The driver had to pull over and call for assistance.
Police also allege the male was making threatening statements towards everyone on the bus.
It’s unclear if anyone was hurt. Charges were filed through juvenile court.
