A staff member at a local juvenile center was injured following an incident that occurred last week.
According to State Police, a 22-year-old staff member at George Junior Republic in Mercer County was injured last Wednesday (January 19th) after a student in a special needs unit allegedly attacked him.
Authorities say that the staff member was later treated at a local hospital.
It is unclear what initially caused last week’s incident.
