Jurassic World scored up T-Rex sized numbers at the weekend box office. The fourth installment of the dino franchise is estimated to have taken in somewhere between $204 to $207 million making it the second-highest opening of all time. Some have even estimated that once Sunday (June 14th) is factored in, Jurassic World may take the top spot.
The film’s star, Chris Pratt, posted to Facebook on Friday (June 12th,) “On behalf of everyone involved in the making of Jurassic World, and believe me there are thousands of us, I want to say thank you. It feels so wonderful to hear the overwhelmingly positive response. We are incredibly blessed and overcome with joy at the outcome of the movie and couldn’t be more appreciative for the amazing support you’ve shown so far. This is bigger than all of us.
