Former Nascar champion Jimmie Johnson will be getting his third crew chief since 2018 beginning this weekend. Hendrick Motorsports has announced Cliff Daniels will take over the direction of the #48 team starting this weekend at Watkins Glen. Johnson won seven championships with Chad Knaus over a 17-year period, but Johnson has not won a race since they were split up in 2018. Johnson is currently 12 points out of a potential playoff spot.
