Jeff Gordon is leaving Fox Sports as a Nascar analyst to become a vice chairman at Hendrick Motorsports. Gordon will become the second-ranking team official to majority owner Rick Hendrick. The four-time champion and Hall of Fame driver, who raced for Hendrick will take the position at the start of 2022. The move is intended to put the 49-year old Gordon in position to take over for Hendrick at some point.
