Some 2022 and 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokees and 2021 to 2023 Grand Cherokee L SUVs are being recalled.
The manufacturer, Stellantis, is recalling more than 354,000 jeeps due to problems with the rear coil springs falling off while driving. In a document posted by the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the company claims the springs were installed incorrectly.
In the document, Staellanis is only aware of 17 warranty claims, two customer assistance reports, and two field reports that may be caused by the problem. No reports of crashes or injuries.
Owners are to be notified by letter starting July 28th.
