The eighth annual Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival, with festivities at different spots across Butler County, will take place this weekend.
The Jeep Invasion, which takes place in Downtown Butler, will be held on Friday, June 8, from 6-10 p.m.
Main Street and select side streets will be lined with over 1,200 Jeeps while thousands of Jeep enthusiasts fill the streets. DJ’s will be playing during the invasion, food vendors will provide treats for event attendees, and merchants will be present to celebrate the Birthplace of the Jeep.
Parking for all vehicles, including Jeeps, on Main Street, and all alleys and streets adjacent to Main Street is prohibited after 4 p.m. Jeeps will begin to park at 5 p.m. All vehicles, including Jeeps, are prohibited from parking on affected streets after 4 p.m. The Invasion will run until 10 p.m. and streets will reopen as soon as the Jeeps have cleared out.
The following streets will be affected by the Jeep Invasion:

- Between Pearl and Wayne Street
- Cunningham Street
- Cunningham Street.

Main Street traffic will be diverted to Washington and McKean Streets.
