The Friends of the Bantam Jeep Association- the group behind the annual Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival- will give back to the local nonprofit community through $20,000 worth of donations.
“When our new organization was formed last fall to secure the future of the Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival, our board of directors felt very strongly that a portion of the Festival proceeds needed to support Butler County’s non-profit and civic organizations,” President Rodney Schaffer said in a news release. “We are now ready to make that goal become a reality, and all of our members are excited to give back to our community.”
Non-profit and civic organizations based in Butler County are encouraged to apply to receive a financial gift from the Friends of the Bantam Jeep Association. All that is required is for the organization to email a letter, not to exceed 500 words, explaining how their organization benefits the county and how any potential funds received will be used. Requests can be emailed to [email protected] and must be received no later than August 30, 2016.
The board will then review the applicants and determine how much to award based on how many organizations apply and their needs.
The Friends of the Bantam Jeep Association was formed in 2015 to take over the planning and execution of the jeep fest going forward.
