A fan who leaped on stage during Zac Brown Band‘s performance on Sunday (June 28th) at Summerfest in Milwaukee got more than he bargained for. The guy hopped up next to the band and danced around a bit before being tackled to the stage floor by the band’s good friend, Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt.
Watt posted a video of the entire encounter on Twitter writing, “Nobody messes with @zacbrownband.”
Zac later tweeted about the incident admitting that the whole thing was a setup. The guy who got tackled is the band’s monitor engineer, Jake Bartol, who had starring roles in the group’s videos for “Knee Deep” and “Toes” where he played a character named “Flody Boatwood.”
