With spring and warm weather comes prom season and several local schools will offer the traditional event to students this weekend.
The Butler Senior High School Prom will take place on Friday from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Butler County Community College. The theme this year is ‘The Great Gatsby.’
Mars Area High School will also have their senior prom at 8 p.m. on Friday. Their event begins with prom walk at 6 p.m. at the High School and then continues at Heinz Field with the theme ‘Written in the Stars.’ Karns City and Knoch high schools will also hold their proms on Friday.
Seneca Valley’s Prom will take place on Saturday beginning with a grand march at 5 p.m. before moving to Stage AE in Pittsburgh.
