Police are continuing their search for a man who robbed a northern Allegheny County bank earlier this weekend.
According to our news partners at WPXI, an unknown man walked into NexTier Bank on Babcock Boulevard in Shaler around 10:30am Saturday morning. The suspect then gave the teller a note that said that he had a gun, although a weapon was never shown.
Authorities say that the suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect is described as a black man, approximately six feet tall, and was seen wearing a two-tone blue Puma jacket with a white stripe. He was also wearing a Pirates hat and a glove.
If you have any information about this case, you’re asked to call the Shaler Police at 412-492-2222, or the Pittsburgh Field Office of the FBI.
