A local organization is celebrating their five year anniversary with several events later today.
The Butler LGBTQ Interfaith Network will present a Social Justice Open House and Worship Service at Covenant Presbyterian Church beginning at 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
The Social Justice Open House will include an exhibit about LGBT people who serve God as part of various faith traditions, another exhibit about third world handmade crafters, and a tour of Covenant’s Underground Railroad stop.
The Worship Service is specially designed for LGBTQ people as well as their families, friends, and allies. Food and fellowship will take place after.
