The Chicago Cubs are 0-for-their-last-9 games in the post-season. The Cubs lost the infamous “Steve Bartman” series 4-3 to the Florida Marlins in 2003. Their last win of that series was game four on October 11, 2003. The Cubs starting pitcher was Butler native Matt Clement, who was the winning pitcher. Clement went 7 2/3rd innings, allowing 5-hits, 3-earned runs, walking two and striking out three. Current Pittsburgh Pirate Aramis Ramirez hit a first inning grand slam in the game and went on to have two home runs and drove in six. It was the last time the Cubs have won a playoff game…….
