Thinking about adding solar panels to your home or business?
A solar co-op is holding an informational meeting this week for property owners in Butler and Beaver counties that are curious about adding solar power to their properties.
The group Solar United Neighbors will host the informational session from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 6 at the Adams Ridge Clubhouse in Mars. Refreshments will be provided.
Those interested in learning about the process of using solar power and the potential cost savings are encouraged to attend. Nearly 30 people have already committed to solar locally and it is free to join, according to the group.
The end of July is the deadline for new members to sign up to maximize savings.
