There is a growing interest in people buying electric vehicles.
According to the latest survey by AAA, around 25 percent of drivers say they would likely buy an electric vehicle for their next purchase. Most drivers say the rising cost of fuel is why they would like to make the switch.
However, there were some concerns with electric cars by consumers. The most commonly cited factor was the cost of the vehicle, followed by the concern that there aren’t enough charging stations.
AAA’s survey also found that millennials led the way in having interest in purchasing an electric vehicle at 30 percent.
