An insurance provider in Ohio is suing a former employee of a business located in Zelienople for nearly $65,000 for embezzlement.
The Cincinnati Insurance Co. has filed a lawsuit against Andrew Bakken of Allentown in Butler County.
The Cincinnati Insurance Company claims that between Dec. 21, 2023 to Jan. 13, while Bakken worked for A&H Equipment as a sales representative, he made charges of nearly $65,000.
The vast majority of those charges were for online gambling and sports betting.
The suit accuses Bakken of fraud and conversion but, no criminal charges have been brought forward.
