Two current congressmen will square off for the right to serve in Pennsylvania’s newest district.
The race for the 17th Congressional District, which includes a portion of Cranberry Township, will see Democratic Rep. Conor Lamb take on Republican Rep. Keith Rothfus.
Aside from Cranberry Township, the new district also includes all of Beaver County and most of western Allegheny County.
33-year-old Conor Lamb is a former federal prosecutor and a veteran. Earlier this year he won a special election for the 18th District.
56-year-old Keith Rothfus has served in Congress since 2011.
