Those traveling out on the roads this pre-holiday weekend will notice an increased presence of law enforcement.
State Police in Troop D- which is headquartered in Butler Township- will have increased traffic patrols beginning Saturday, Dec. 22 and running through Christmas Day.
Officers remind drivers to stay calm and use “common sense” while out on the roads- despite heavier-than-usual vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
Troopers will be on the lookout for speeding, aggressive driving and driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
