Heavy amounts of snow coming into the area will not lead to large acumination but it will lead to ugly roadways.
Butler County is expected to receive several inches on snow fall but due to warm ground temperatures meteorologist are expecting that at max Butler County will only see up two inches.
What residents will see is the snowy, watery, icy slush.
Tim Sermak, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service.
“During any of the afternoon hours you’re more likely to see that sort of mix slush you’re talking about,” said Sermak. “During overnight hours, your night time hours any snow that falls is a bit more likely to be just straight snow and that is what will have the potential to stick.”
Sermak also said it’s unlikely that at any given time there will be more than one to two inches on the ground.
