Police say a scammer was able to steal a man’s identity and take out a massive personal loan.
The incident happened in mid-December when a Slippery Rock man had personal information stolen.
The scammer then took that information and opened up a $20,000 loan.
There were no details available on a possible suspect.
Police say they are investigating.
