Interstate 80 near Clintonville has reopened after a tractor-trailer crash had it closed Wednesday evening.
According to Clintonville Fire Chief Gerry Rea, a tractor-trailer was traveling westbound on I-80 East when it traveled across the median, crossed over both eastbound lanes and struck an embankment. The truck then jackknifed blocking one lane.
The crash happened about 6:30 p.m.
The road was closed until crews could remove the vehicle and clear the debris. I-80 reopened about 9 p.m.
The driver was not hurt and no other vehicles were involved.
