Police arrested two people from Petrolia who they say broke into and stole from a home that had recently been damaged by a fire.
Matthew Maley, 34, and Nicole Brown, 33, are facing a list of felony and misdemeanor charges. They are husband and wife.
State police allege the couple broke into a home on Anderson Road in Fairview Township and stole two televisions, household items and clothing.
The house had been unoccupied because of a fire in December. The owner had salvaged the items from the fire and had them inside the home until they turned up missing.
Maley allegedly admitted to police that he broke into the home several times to steal the items.
