State officials say at least 660 Pennsylvanians already submitted online applications to register to vote.
The state’s Internet-based system launched Thursday and officially made Pennsylvania the 23rd state to provide online voter registration.
The online system will not replace traditional paper registration, but simply supplement it. Supporters say it’s cheaper, more accurate and more convenient than registering on paper.
