It’s a pattern-forecasters say- that we’ll be in for the next several days: hot, humid and rainy.
The National Weather Service Office in Pittsburgh is forecasting scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evenings on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and deeper into the weekend. Temperatures will be in the mid-to-upper 80s.
On Independence Day, there is a 50 percent chance for rain.
Parts of Butler County were under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning on late Tuesday afternoon, which likely was the cause of scattered power outages.
