Online courses beginning later this week will provide information about the quality of hay that could impact horses.
Penn State Extension is offering the interactive program titled “Horse Hay Workshop” beginning Monday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. then continuing on Wednesday.
Horse owners, horse farm managers, and horse hay producers can learn more about how forage is made, how to buy it and sell it, how to store it safely, and how to feed it to horses.
The registration fee is $10 and sign up is required by 6 p.m. tomorrow (Monday) through the Penn State Extension website.
