A Butler County judge is once again just a step away from becoming a federal judge.
The U.S. Senate is expected to resume consideration on Monday of Marilyn Horan and 11 other district court nominees and four executive branch nominees.
This isn’t the first time Horan has been this close to filling a vacancy on the federal court bench. Last year, President Donald Trump nominated Horan to fill a vacant seat on the U.S. District Court in Pittsburgh. President Barack Obama nominated Horan for the same seat back in 2015.
